In the summer of 2019, Emily Engelhart was reading Romans 8:37: “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” The phrase “more than” leapt off the page and became the spark that inspired her to create her blog, More Than Ministries. MTM began as a simple Christian blog with a big mission—to bring encouragement and hope through God’s Word to all who read her content. Every post grew out of her personal Bible study and life experiences, paired with her own photography inspired by nature and everyday life. Today, she continues with her blogging, sharing messages that are full of hope and encouragement through the words of the Bible.
Since then, Emily has expanded MTM across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and beyond, creating devotionals, videos, and resources that inspire believers to live “more than” the hardships, fears, and trials of this world. Her writing blends biblical truth with real-life encouragement, helping men and women—teens through adults—find their identity in Christ and embrace His purpose for their lives.
In 2022, Emily decided to write her first book, 30 Days to Change. Through this devotional, she invites readers on a journey of transformation, renewal, and deeper intimacy with their Creator. To carry this vision further, she launched More Than Publishing, her independent publishing company, beginning with 30 Days to Change and continuing with all future books.
Emily also launched More Than Media—a creative outlet for videos, YouTube content and more. More Than Media reflects her desire to use multiple platforms to share the Gospel and spread encouragement in today’s internet-focused world, ensuring her message reaches hearts far beyond the written page.
Whether through books, media, or personal interactions, Emily’s passion remains the same: to remind every person that they are “more than” the trials they face because of Jesus’ love for them.
